Hollingsworth-Kirk papers, 1911-1964 (inclusive).

Collection chiefly consists of E. Buckner (Kirk) Hollingsworth's professional correspondence concerning the writing and publishing of her two books Flower Chronicles (1958) and Her Garden Was Her Delight (1962). It also includes correspondence about the research and writing of numerous articles on horticulture and about Hollingsworth's service overseas in 1918 and 1919 with the American Red Cross, correspondence between her sister Mary Kirk and their mother, including letters from Oldfield School, 1911-1914, material on Wallis Simpson, and financial records, articles, pamphlets, clippings, and photos.
